Damn, Veronica Mars was quite intense. And really, really good this week. Seeing Veronica's face when she stood in that elevator looking at Logan made me realize once again why she left him: because he had the ability to hurt her so. much. And that hadn't stopped.
I am glad we didn't get a cheesy kissing scene but just the sweet talk and then the painful confrontation. It was very obvious that Logan wasn't alone in his room but I was unsure of who it could be. Some fanfic would have put Weevil inCordy's Kendall's place alas canon doesn't give us that. A real pity. (For those reading this interested in Logan/Weevil eventually plus Veronica: go read
sadiekate's A Slow, Smooth Burn Going Down, the prequel to Scattered Scars Like Constellations. Very good! And read the other one too, not only the prequel. It's hot.)
Anyway, Veronica's hurt face shows how much she still feels for Logan. And I am glad for it.
Jackie and Wallace: sweet, but too saccharine.
Mac: totally rocked in that dress and with that hair! Woman, you are sooo pretty all dolled up.
MotW: That Lucky/Mannings/Goodman thing is our new lead, right? Am curious where that will take us. I have no ideas on my own, sorry, am going wherever the writers will take us.
Can I just say again how much I loved Logan in this ep? Yeah, he was drunk and stupid and he acted like a jackass but that's who he is. And there is still so much more...

So, after that emo review go look at
awmp entry about 2.20. She focuses on the important moments of this episode!
Had a nice day with a late class in the Gemäldegalerie, some shopping and baking. I tried a new Brownies recipe. Not all that convinced by it. They are tasty but not chocolately enough. Does any of you have a good recipe? I have one where they make them with peanut butter, and that's tasty but I wanted something different this time.
My mom is visiting in a week, I am really looking forward to seeing her. Haven't since christmas. We are gonna see Maria Stuart at the theatre. Yay!
Oh, and our presentation went really well! We had a big audience, nice enough food, some music and fantastic weather. Which was great cause after our presentation we could go outside and enjoy ourselves. Met an important former prefessor and he made me sign his copies of our guide. Nice feeling!

Date: 2006-04-26 10:27 pm (UTC)And I am really excited to see the play, I have yet only read it, never seen it acted out I think. Or it's been so long I don't remember. But I like the story of Mary Stuart, one of the few people I actually read a biography about. Very interesting person.

Date: 2006-04-26 11:16 pm (UTC)TOTALLY agree with your VM review! Also gotta mention how hilarious Veronica's "Conversation" with Madison was *snicker* ..."I hear the law really comes down hard" .. mwahahha..
Kendall creeps me out but Charisma is doing SUCH a great job playing her!

Glad your book-thingy went well. As
Agreeing on your review as well. I was too lazy to write one myself, haven't been up to much lately, lj-wise.
But we need to talk (and not in bad way, just in catch-up-way), gonna call ya later, kay? Love!
