Just been to my first Christopher Street Day. Heard the radio coverage all day and they played all these great danceable tunes and I needed to go! Called the only person I knew would come with me and she knew what I wanted even before I asked! Nice to see all the pretty people! We even stayed for Wowies speech, wasn't very groundbreaking, but hey, whatever! He got called the "Stadtmutter" (city's mother) instead of the "Stadtvater" (dad). And Ole Lehmann moderated the party. I like him. Didn't stay too long but it was still great to get out and dance, even though we did very little of that.

Other than that I stayed in front of my books all day, actually working and getting the article on Sanssouci done. Finally! Now it's only one left (until yesterday!): Prussia between Rococo and Classicism.

wow, the CSD! It didn't look like a lot of people on the telly actually, but I'm glad it was fun.

Didn't see pics yet, but it was nicely crowded with a lot of space to dance. I like it that way.
