Okay, so I am almost caught up with Bones (yeah, I know, I am procrastinating, and I also got a little sick...), so

Okay, just that last scene in 504, The Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood, I loved it. They are a family, Parker and Bones and Booth. All: partners with a kid. And of course Parker would have a reason like a pool to ask for a girlfriend for his dad, he is 8. Loved that he actually got what he wanted from the non-girlfriend Bones. And he is so right: Bones is awesome.

What I love in general about the show:

They actually admit to the feelings between Bones and Booth. Sure, no one is really telling them to go get some and all that (except very subtle-like when Booth 2 is in the picture) but all of the team know they are meant for each other, and I am guessing Brennan has actually mulled over the idea of getting it on with Booth and discarded it for the possible bad outcome. Booth does weigh this a little too, but his decision would be from the heart whereas Bones would let her mind rule over that. Yes, he admitted to his feelings aloud but it's all blamed on his coma. Come on, it made you realise something you already knew! Until we actually get something from them (and I guess we will, only when the show has a cancelled sign hanging over it) I adore the UST going around. Would love to get some actual action in some fanfics, is there anything worth reading out there?

Angela and Bones are two very awesome, very distinct female characters. God, I miss Sarah Connor. So. Much. Anyhoo, I like Angela and Bones, for their view on sexuality, dating, handling relationships and for their way of dressing. I know this sounds superficial, but in comparison to them, Cam is standing out as a very typical version of the woman who men want. She feels too much like a "modern woman" but not with her own personality or touch maybe. Sorry, can't express this quite well. Just, with her tight clothes and stern looks, hmmm. But maybe she is just another aspect of the modern woman, I feel that Angela and Bones have evolved a little more. Even though I do appreciate the humour Cam brings to the workplace.

I loved 425, The Critic in the Cabernet. It felt a lot like the end of season 1 of Queer as Folk. I laughed so hard in the beginning, they did have some real funnies in there! And the baby!Booth idea, very nice. I love what that did to Booth, realising he cannot be a non-involved daddy, which would have led to all sorts of weird scenarios. I first thought they put that idea in because the actress was pregnant. It felt a little over the top. Well, Booth' outburst saying he could only be involved made my heart clench, just as much as Bones saying forget about the baby, I only care for you, and just trust me. And I am guessing bringing the baby idea up again will just remind them too much of what happened, right? Maybe they can have it all natural, them in the sac together! Please? Even if the scientific approach would be very Bones-like and also very independent woman.

I like that they take Booth' coma to make him vulnerable in places he wouldn't have been before and encourage him to make it out of there on his own, Brennan at his side but not teaching him, only as a sort of support. It does feel weird, her having been in Guatemala? Venezuela? when he was recovering. That might be explained by their working relationship though. Even if it is long past that.

And it's cool how the show also marks on Brennan's success, her earning so much money, really being all arch-type to that stupid old picture of the housewife. I would enjoy Bones being all working woman and Booth being at home as the baby daddy. Which might not be something Booth would be all comfortable with. I think FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth enjoys his job too much for that.

So, I really enjoy this ensemble, especially the funny moments, the UST and the mixture of matter-of-fact characters like Bones and then the general caring about each other from all sides. I am still sorta waiting for Zach to return to the table, not because I particularly like him a lot just because I think at one point his innocence will be noticed. And because all the changing interns are more there for comic relief, aren't they? Sure, they are interesting and maybe they'll stay but it feels a lot like Zach is waiting in the wings (ahhh, that makes me think of a very UST-going on RST episode of a certain show!)

And I must say: if I am able to catch up to shows, I like it better. I always have trouble with the every-week-watching. This back-to-back thing, way more up my ally. Even though it can get a bit more repetitive with some themes. Still, way better!

I know how frustrating it was to wait for Veronica Mars (season one) every week... I am watching 'The West Wing' back to back and I got a bit bored by the repetitions. OWrst of all is How I Met Your Mother, because they use flashbacks all the ti me and it just got on ym nerves!
it's toolate to type properly!
